Fawad Khan starrer Money Back Guarantee set for release on Eid

New Delhi : Money Back Guarantee, a political satire written by Faisal Qureshi and directed by Zashko Fim, will soon have Fawad Khan back on the big screen. On April 21, 2023, the film will debut in theatres everywhere except India.

Given the success of Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai, on which Fawad has appeared, we regret not being able to release our film in India. His film, Kapoor and Sons, was widely praised around the world, including in Pakistan. Shayan sighs, “Unfortunately, the political situation does not allow it.

The film seems to bring out the best in the former entrepreneur-turned-producer. The citizens of a made-up nation of various ethnicities band together in “Money Back Guarantee” to devise a plan to recoup their losses. Lots of laughs and thoughtful reflection on corruption in public and political life can be expected from this dark comedy.

Fawad’s performance in the 2014 comedy-drama Khubsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor earned him the Filmfare’s coveted Black Lady in the Best Male Debut category.

Fawad’s action drama The Legend of Maula Jatt from last year broke records for box office receipts in the Punjabi film industry. In addition, he debuted in the MCU series Ms. Marvel, which received rave reviews.

The actor-singer plays a bank manager in Money Back Guarantee who will stop at nothing to become president. Shayan assures, “He’s dishonest and hypocritical, but he’ll still woo you with his charm.”

Besides Fawad, the film also stars Mikaal Zulfiqar in a pivotal role, along with Ayesha Omer, Hina Dilpazeer, Kiran Malik, Wasim Akram, and Shaniera Akram. Interestingly, none of the actresses necessarily play the lady love of the male leads.
