Mumbai : Bollywood audiences have traditionally enjoyed films and web series based on stories from India’s northern area, particularly the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Several stories, including Ganga Jal, Gangs of Wasseypur, Khaki – The Bihar Chapter, Mirzapur, Jahanabad, Maharani, and Super 30, have been successful. Coat, a film based on the narrative of young writer Kumar Abhishek from Bihar, is now ready for release. The release date of the Hindi film Coat, starring Vivaan Shah and Sanjay Mishra, has been revealed on social media via a poster. The film will be released in theatres across the country on May 26th, 2023.
This is the narrative of Madho, a little child from a small hamlet in Bihar, India, who is simple but has enormous goals. He and his father rear pigs, which is a low-income occupation in Indian villages. Madho aspires to build a name for himself in India’s fast evolving technical sector. However, he is confused about how to proceed. One day, several NRI (Non-Resident Indian) tourists arrive in their hamlet, and Madho notices their outfit and wishes he could wear something similar. He tries other methods to obtain the suit but is unsuccessful. He experiments with different ideas, but they always fail in the end. Meanwhile, Madho develops feelings for a girl. Madho desires to realise his ambitions. Did he obtain everything he wanted? Viewers will have to wait until May 26 to find out. Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi will make a cameo appearance in the film. This film is produced by Kumar Abhishek, Pinnu Singh, Shiv Aryan, and Arpit Garg under the label Perfect Time Pictures in collaboration with Black Panther Movies Ltd and Brandex Entertainment. Kumar Abhishek wrote the script for the film, which was directed by Akshay Ditti.
Sanjay Mishra, Sonal Jha, Puja Pandey, Badal Rajput, Harshita Pandey, Navin Prakash, Abhishek Chauhan, Aakanksha Srivastava, Ragini Kashyap, and Gagan Gupta also star.
