VADODARA, GUJARAT : Bollywood luminary Aamir Khan is in Vadodara, as filming commences for his much-anticipated Hindi movie, “Sitaare Zameen Parr.” This venture comes sixteen years after the resounding success of his iconic film “Taare Zameen Par.” Aamir Khan, revered for his cinematic brilliance, is now gearing up to present the sequel, promising audiences another heartwarming tale.

Khan, who is staying put in a hotel on Vasna-Bhayli road, has started shooting for the film. The film’s shooting is expected to continue till June 12.

The movie, a Hindi adaptation of the acclaimed Spanish sports drama “Campeones” (2018), boasts a stellar cast including Aamir Khan himself, alongside Genelia Deshmukh and Darsheel Safary.

In an Instagram live session, Aamir Khan shared insights about the upcoming film, expressing his excitement about its release, slated for December this year. He revealed that “Sitaare Zameen Parr” aims to evoke laughter and warmth, much like its predecessor “Taare Zameen Par” elicited tears. Notably, the film will delve into the theme of Down Syndrome, shedding light on this often-misunderstood condition with sensitivity and compassion.

As the cameras roll in Vadodara, anticipation mounts among fans eager to witness Aamir Khan’s cinematic magic once again. The city’s picturesque locales are set to provide a captivating backdrop for the unfolding narrative, adding an extra layer of allure to the cinematic experience.
