Ciceroni Edit – Vol.II, an annual on-ground fashion and lifestyle pop-up by Ciceroni brings forth 45+ emerging homegrown designers from across India to Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad (Gujarat) : Ciceroni, a curated E-commerce platform with an eye for design and eclectic styles in affordable luxury segment, is set to host its annual pop-up CICERONI EDIT VOL.II featuring 45 plus homegrown designers for the fashionistas of Ahmedabad on 3rd and 4th February 2023 at 079 stories. Better known as the local shopping guide in Ahmedabad, Ciceroni laid its roots in Ahmedabad in 2016 to help shoppers discover interesting places of shopping and later evolved as a curated e-commerce platform. They spotlight emerging artisanal labels that are handcrafted and inclusive in their approach, thereby helping shoppers to shop from new designers from different nooks and corners of India.
“Vocal for Local has been the underlying philosophy of Ciceroni right from its inception. Design is given primary importance at curation process at Ciceroni with an inherent belief that sustainability should be a norm, not a differentiating factor for fashion brands. We handpick labels at the early stage of a designer’s journey and provide a platform for them to meet the right kind of audience who loves to wear their individuality on their sleeves. For Ciceroni Edit Vol.II, we have put together a curation that is high on design and wearability for the modern Indian. We work in affordable luxury segment usually ranging from Rs.3,000 to Rs.20,000 price point offering trans-seasonal clothing and jewellery styles for fashion conscious shoppers” shared Neha Sheth, Founder and CEO – Ciceroni on how this pop-up will be different from every other exhibit in the city.
Fresh Talent like RAFU’D, Doh Takkeh, Shriya Singhi, Noura, NOIE NOEI, Econock are just but a few names among a slew of others who are coming to Ahmedabad for the very first time. Endorsed by Bollywood A-listers, these labels are making waves in their first year of creation. There will be award winning designers like Terra Tribe (Elle Graduate 2022 –sustainable wear), Baka (Elle Graduate 2021 – Accessories) and NoNaMé (Elle Graduate 2022 – jewellery) besides labels like Space, Happi Space, Studio Bhavik Shah, Nirjara, AT44, Cross A Line, Deeta, Kashmiriyat, Aimra’a, By Nirjari and many more.
“Consumers face dilemma in understanding the correct size despite sizing information and lack the understanding of how certain textiles will feel and fall on their bodies. Thus, big ticket purchase gets delayed till they try it on, be it in a store or at a pop-up exhibition. Setting up brick and mortar store comes with its own set of challenges including investment, inventory management and resources. Such On-ground Pop-ups allow online businesses to dip their toes in physical retail format without having to bear the long-term investment impact”, added Sheth on why host an on-ground pop-up being an online E-commerce platform.
Ciceroni Edit – Vol.II is Ciceroni’s second event where 45+ labels in womenswear, menswear, jewellery and gourmet food and beverages will be on display. You can indulge in crafts and textiles of Kutch brought forth by Label Skinsootra or get your hands on trending co-ord sets from Space and Happi Space. Eclectic bohemian and architectural jewellery made from textiles, leather, glass and brass will also be at display.
