BJP leader Divya Hagaragi arrested in connection with PSI recruitment scam in Karnataka

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India]: BJP leader in Karnataka, Divya Hagaragi, and four others have been arrested by the Crime Investigation Team (CID) in connection with the Sub-Inspector (PSI) recruitment exam scam on Friday.
Talking with media persons, Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra stated that the BJP leader, Divya Hagaragi was absconding following the expose of the PSI recruitment exam scam. She was hiding in Pune from where the CID sleuths arrested her.
According to Jnanendra, the Karnataka Government will not spare anyone involved in the PSI recruitment exam scam with the arrest of BJP leader Divya.
Earlier, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge had asked the Bommai Government to ensure a free and fair investigation into the PSI recruitment scam. Kharge alleged that the BJP government arrested two persons belonging to other parties immediately and the prime accused from their party were roaming free.
PSI recruitment scam is related to the irregularities committed by the accused named in the complaint regarding the appointment of the PSIs in the state. Congress alleged there is a huge scam as 545 candidates were appointed due to the involvement of the Home Minister, government, and officials.
