Anupam Rasayan signs $120 million LoI with Japanese chemical company

Surat : Anupam Rasayan (NSE, BSE: ANURAS), one of India’s leading custom synthesis and specialty chemical players, has signed a Letter of Intent worth $120 million (984 crores) with a leading Japanese chemical company to supply new age advance intermediate for life science active ingredient over the next six years. This product will be produced in their existing and future multipurpose manufacturing facilities.

Anand Desai, Managing Director of Anupam Rasayan, commented on the contract, saying, “We are excited to announce that we will be the primary supplier globally for this new age high value advance intermediate to the Japanese customer.” We are delighted to welcome yet another prominent Japanese multinational to our client list. This molecule’s sales will be among the highest for the company. This molecule is based on fluorination chemistry, which validates our fluorination expansion strategy.

This product is being manufactured in India for the first time, in accordance with the government’s make in India policy. This LOI demonstrates our technical capability to collaborate with Japanese customers on niche molecules and strengthens our revenue growth visibility in the coming years.”
