AHMEDABAD : With the cost of overseas education continuing to rise due to higher tuition fees, living expenses and currency fluctuations, a new scholarship initiative aims to make international education more accessible for students in Gujarat. The WorldGrad, in partnership with OnTrack Education, has announced a range of scholarships covering up to 100% of first-year tuition fees, offering financial relief to deserving students aspiring to study abroad.
The initiative is designed to identify talented students through a structured scholarship assessment process that evaluates academic performance, aptitude and future potential. Organisers say the programme seeks to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent deserving students from pursuing globally recognised qualifications.
Under the programme, one student will receive the Padho Videsh Scholarship (Top Scholar) with a 100% tuition fee waiver, while another female student will be awarded a 50% scholarship. A third student demonstrating academic and extracurricular excellence will receive a 25% scholarship. Additionally, up to two eligible students will be selected for the SmartGrad Scholarship, offering a 20% tuition fee waiver.
“Students across Gujarat continue to aspire for international education, but affordability remains a major concern for many families,” said Amit Garga, Co-Founder of The WorldGrad. “Through this initiative, we want to reward academic excellence and future potential while ensuring talented students are not limited by financial circumstances.”
Mamta Jani, Founder of OnTrack Education, said parents are increasingly looking for overseas education pathways that combine quality education with financial flexibility.
“Families today want global exposure and strong career prospects without an overwhelming financial burden. This scholarship programme is designed to help students achieve those aspirations while making international education more affordable,” she said.
Students scoring 60% or above in Class 12 are eligible to apply for the scholarship assessment, which includes tests in mathematics and English, along with evaluation of academic records and overall student profiles.
Applications for the scholarship programme are now open through The WorldGrad Study Centre and OnTrack Education offices.
