Surat | Gujarat — Surat International Airport is set to enhance its connectivity with the launch of its first daily international flight from the diamond city of Surat.  Starting December 1, 2025, the Surat-Bangkok-Surat flight by Air India Express will operate daily.  This flight previously operated just four days a week, but in response to high demand—consistently exceeding a 90 percent passenger load—this significant change has been implemented.

This decision positions Surat Airport as a premier international-class facility, unlocking a wealth of opportunities for both tourists and business professionals alike.  Daily connections to key East Asian hubs such as Bangkok will enhance Surat’s access to global markets significantly.

The Delhi-Surat flight is set to operate daily from now on.

In a move to enhance connectivity, the Delhi-Surat flight, which previously operated four days a week, will now take off daily at 05:30 am, ensuring seamless access to the daily flight to Bangkok.  Air India Express is set to boost its weekly flights between Delhi and Surat, increasing the total from 22 to an impressive 28.

Daily service will elevate Surat’s global identity to new heights.

This development is highly promising for Surat’s tourism and business sectors.  The impressive passenger traffic at Surat Airport signals its readiness for international flights, and this daily service will elevate Surat’s presence on the global stage.
