Surat : In a shocking display of reckless behavior, a group of class 12 students studying at Fountainhead school  in Surat staged a luxury car rally with around 30 high-end vehicles, including BMWs, Mercedes, and Skodas, performing dangerous stunts on public roads. The incident, captured on video, went viral on social media, raising concerns over traffic law violations and road safety.

The rally was part of a farewell party organized for students of Fountainhead School in Kunkani village, Olpad taluka. However, instead of a formal celebration, the event turned into a high-speed procession that resembled a ministerial convoy—but with more luxury and zero regulation.

After the shocking visuals surfaced online, Surat Police swiftly took action. The traffic police and local law enforcement have started tracking the vehicles involved by identifying their registration numbers. Additionally, officials have sought clarifications from the school administration and are preparing to penalize the students responsible for violating traffic regulations.

DCP Amita Vanani confirmed the police’s proactive approach, statin, “We have begun a thorough investigation and strict action will be taken against those who violated traffic laws. All car numbers have been retrieved, and legal action will follow under the Motor Vehicles Act.”

According to reports, the students started their unauthorized rally from D Mart in Rander and drove recklessly through the streets before reaching Fountainhead School in Olpad via Dandi Road. The convoy blocked traffic, endangered other drivers, and violated multiple traffic rules as students performed dangerous stunts, even hanging out of sunroofs while speeding.

Police officials were caught off guard as neither the students nor the school authorities sought prior permission for the road show. Pal and Rander police stations denied any prior knowledge of the event, stating that “No permission was taken, and we were not informed about this convoy. If laws were broken, action will be taken.”

In an attempt to deflect blame, Fountainhead School administration distanced itself from the controversial rally, claiming it had no role in organizing the luxury car parade. The school’s administrative head made a clear statement: “This was not our plan. Parents and students brought these cars without any permission. We had arranged a school bus for the event, but no one used it. We did not allow a single car inside the school campus.”

With public outrage growing over the viral stunt rally, Surat Police is considering legal measures against the students involved. Authorities are likely to impose heavy fines and take further action against those found guilty of violating traffic laws.
