Vadodara: A gas leak incident at Alidhra Pharmachem Pvt Ltd in Vadodara sent four workers scrambling for medical attention on Tuesday afternoon. The workers, identified as Dinesh, Harsad, Surendra, and one other, were reportedly preparing materials when a bearing in the tanks cracked, causing the leak.
“We received information about the gas leak and immediately rushed to the scene,” said Nandesari Police Inspector M R Sangada. “The affected workers were unconscious and required immediate medical attention, so we prioritized getting them to the hospital. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.”

“The fire fighting team arrived swiftly and managed to plug the leak, preventing further harm,” Sangada added. “Thankfully, no major fire or explosion occurred during the incident.”
The four affected workers are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, and their condition is being monitored.
