Mr. Rishikesh Mishra, one of the company’s enthusiastic founders, came up with the idea to create a specialised online store called “Iraah Store” to sell sarees.

When people go for something that’s not just exceptional but also completely out of the ordinary, they make a bold fashion statement. There are several designer saree labels producing high-quality products, but can we find every possible kind of sari in one place? To observe the flip side, one must, of course, toss a coin.

While there are advantages to wearing Western apparel, nothing compares to the feeling of putting on a saree. A saree is an heirloom piece of clothing that can be passed down from one generation to the next, from a young girl at her goodbye to her grandmother. The saree is the go-to garment for all Indian women because it adds a special touch to any event.

According to data from International Market Analysis Research and Consulting Group, the Indian textile and apparel market would be worth US$ 387.3 Billion by 2028. (IMARC Group). An outstanding product that gels nicely is essential for a massive industry. Building a name for your company in a sector as competitive as this one can be exhausting if you aren’t well-equipped.

After talking to Mr. Rishikesh Mishra, we was compelled to learn more about the inspiration behind the creation of his intriguing and novel line of sarees. When asked what he intended to accomplish in life, he said, “I always wanted to start up something that goes a long way. Because western culture will not hold Indians’ attention for very long, apparel brands have a faster growth rate than any other brand. And we’ve been planning to go digital to scale it even farther.”

In such a competitive world, one needs to be cleverer to achieve something bigger because the cobweb of digital start-ups is elaborating at a fast pace. This pumped them to introduce an online saree brand – Iraah Store.

They make sure to deliver the finest quality products at the most affordable prices. But what made them sell such exquisite sarees on a reasonable range? Iraah Store has a strong tie-up with saree manufacturers in various Indian states. The wholesalers directly produce large numbers of sarees, and they further stock for their online customers without gaining excessive profit margins like the other luxurious brands.

Kanjivaram sarees from Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu; Banarasi sarees from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh; Patola from Patan, Gujarat, are some of the saree collections stocked by Iraah Store.

“Giving online saree shopping exposure to customers for different occasions was our agenda to avoid women’s efforts of flipping on to various ethnic websites”, – said Mr. Rishikesh Mishra.
