World’s Tallest Rudraksha Shivling to come up in Valsad during Mahashivratri 2025

The impressive construction of a 36-foot tall Rudraksha Shivling, crafted from 36 lakh Rudrakshas, is currently underway with great momentum. This year's construction of the Rudraksha Shivling is set to secure a spot in the record book, bringing pride to all of Gujarat, including the Valsad district.

Valsad : The Mahashivratri Rudraksha Mahotsav is set to take place from February 18 to 26 at Vankal, located on the Valsad-Dharampur Road, featuring the esteemed Rudraksha expert and Shiva storyteller, Pujya Batukbhai Vyas. 

The impressive construction of a 36-foot tall Rudraksha Shivling, crafted from 36 lakh Rudrakshas, is currently underway with great momentum. This year’s construction of the Rudraksha Shivling is set to secure a spot in the record book, bringing pride to all of Gujarat, including the Valsad district.

The “Mahashivratri Rudraksha Mahotsav 2025” is set to take place from February 18 to 26, offering attendees the opportunity to witness the Rudraksha Mahashivling daily from morning to evening and participate in the abhishekam ceremony. 

Each morning from 9:00 to 12:00, a Maharudra Yajna will take place, followed by a Shiva Katha every afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00 by Batukbhai Vyas. At 6:30 PM, a magnificent ceremony featuring 108 lamps will take place. Devotees from around the globe will have the unique opportunity to witness and walk around 150 crore Om Namah Shivaya mantras that have been handwritten by them. Dikri Devo Bhava (108 Kumarika Puja in the presence of Rudraksha Shivlinga Ji), a blood donation camp, and numerous other programs are scheduled to take place from 18 to 26 February.

This year, on the significant occasion of the 39th Mahashivratri festival, the Mahashivratri Rudraksha Mahotsav Samiti, along with the villagers of Valsad – Vankal and dedicated Shiva devotees, are tirelessly engaged in the creation of a stunning 36-foot tall Rudraksha Shivling, constructed from an impressive 36 lakh Rudrakshas. This initiative is inspired by the renowned  Batukbhai Vyas, a celebrated storyteller and Rudraksha expert, who has been recognized in the Limca Book of Records on four occasions. This year, a stunning 36-foot tall Rudraksha Shivling, crafted from 36 lakh Rudrakshas, is set to be constructed. It will claim the title of the tallest Rudraksha Shivling globally and establish a new record, following in the footsteps of previous achievements.

Renowned storyteller and Rudraksha specialist,i Batukbhai Vyas, shared that in the past, Lord Shiva designated him as the instrument for creating the world’s tallest Rudraksha Shivling, and this year, he is once again blessed with that opportunity.

This marks the second consecutive year of our event being held on this sacred ground between Valsad and Dharampur. Community leaders and residents of Dharampur, Valsad, Wankal, and nearby regions are actively rallying together and organizing efforts for this initiative.
