Surat : The newly renovated Mumbai Central-Surat Flying Ranee Express train with its LHB rake has sparked a deluge of reactions on social media as passengers found themselves needing umbrellas inside the moving train during the monsoon season. The picture of a man literally holding an umbrella inside the train to shield himself from water leaks from the roof went viral, leading to humorous calls to rename the train ‘Flying Kani.’

The grand unveiling of the revamped Flying Ranee took place on July 15, graced by the presence of Union Minister of State for Railways, Darshana Jardosh. However, it seems the monsoon rain had other plans as the new avatar encountered a rather amusing hiccup.
