The popularity of Veganuary has prompted many Indian companies to lower the price of their vegan products during the month of January. Many well-known brands, such as Nature’s Basket, BigBasket, Baskin Robbins, Epigamia, Blue Tribe, Wingreens, Go Zero, Noto, and Papa Cream, are showing their support for Veganuary this year. India has contributed more than 70 brands to the worldwide movement, and that number is expected to grow.
Blue Tribe’s CCO Sohil Wazir made the following statement: “Veganism has emerged as a crucial strategy in the battle against environmental degradation. Perhaps this is why so many famous people, including Lewis Hamilton, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, MS Dhoni, Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia Dsouza, and Tom Ford, are vocal advocates of a plant-based, environmentally friendly diet. For those who enjoy eating meat, Blue Tribe hopes to inspire a shift in diet and lifestyle toward vegetarian and vegan options that are more conscious of their impact on the planet. In honour of Veganuary, we are providing a discount on all of our items during the month of January.”
According to Pawan Sarda, Group CMO & Head, D2C at Wingreens World, “the popularity of vegan diet is the mark of a more conscious generation that cares about sustainable future.” To further the goals of health, wellbeing, and long-term change, Wingreens World is pleased to announce its partnership with Veganuary in 2023.
Veganuary encourages people to try a vegan diet by providing them with free tools and daily coaching emails for the entire month. They have updated their celebrity e-cookbook to include recipes from global celebrities like Venus Williams and Dr. Jane Goodall, as well as adding a new vegan starter kit for Indian participants that covers all questions about veganism and includes more Indian recipes. On January 1, not only will a 31-day YouTube series be released to give people more ways to get involved in Veganuary, but also a brand new podcast series.
“We are proud to partner with Veganuary this year,” said Mr. Viraj Bahl, Founder and Managing Director of Veeba Foods. “I feel that this is a great platform for first-timers, as well as veteran vegans.” Veganuary not only makes it easier to switch to a vegan lifestyle, but it also pumps in the motivation and encouragement to sustain a vegan lifestyle, no matter where you are in your journey. Supporting you on this path is why we created Earthmade: to provide you with vegan and organic products that promote a healthy lifestyle and a better planet.
Hatti Kaapi’s Chief Innovation Officer, Dr. Vidya, was thrilled to support Veganuary and had this to say: “Hatti Kaapi has made environmental protection a top priority, and one of the most well-received actions we’ve taken recently is giving away vegan food. We love Veganuary and are so glad to be a part of it; many thanks to the organisers for drawing attention to the Plant-based movement and helping to make veganism more widely accepted.”
It was pointed out by SMOOR Chocolates’ Vimal Sharma, CEO & Founder, that “The demand for and reception of our vegan dishes are testaments to the high regard in which our customers have held the authenticity of our menu. Because of the many positive effects on health, a vegan diet is quickly becoming one of the most popular choices. We’re excited to take the initiative and take part in Veganuary 2023.”
To improve the health and happiness of their staff, many companies are incorporating lessons on healthy eating into their employee engagement initiatives. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, the largest pharmaceutical company in India, is encouraging all of its employees to give veganism a try during the month of January as part of the Veganuary Workplace Challenge.
Prashanth Vishwanath, the director of Veganuary in India, expressed delight at the news, saying, “I am thrilled to have so much support for Veganuary from celebrities and companies alike.” Veganism is gaining a lot of popularity in India, and this indicates that vegan foods will soon be the norm.
