Ahmedabad: The stage is set for a dazzling display of economic vibrancy, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Global Trade Show on January 9, marking the grand opening of the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. Witnessing the launch alongside Modi was a distinguished gathering, including UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, underlining the international spotlight on this marquee event.

This year’s Summit promises to be the biggest yet, with a record-breaking 65,000 registrations, 50,000 company registrations, and over 1,000 exhibiting companies. The sprawling Global Trade Show, the largest ever, boasts exhibits and stalls spread across a whopping two lakh square meters, showcasing the finest from diverse industries.

But the buzz isn’t just about numbers. As preparations reach a fever pitch, the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad braces for one of its busiest times, with over 350 additional flights and nearly 150 private jets expected to land and depart in the coming days.

Modi underscored the Summit’s significance, releasing a commemorative Rs 20 stamp and coin to mark its 20-year journey. This brainchild of his vision, conceived in 2003, has steadily grown into a global platform for attracting investments and fostering economic partnerships.

Late Tuesday evening, Modi and President Al Nahyan embarked on a captivating roadshow from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar, their convoy accompanied by vibrant cultural performances from various Indian states. Thousands of excited people lined the streets, eager to witness this spectacular display of unity and celebration.

Behind the scenes, the Gujarat State Police is leaving no stone unturned, deploying a robust security apparatus. RFID tagging, anti-drone systems, and 3D mapping ensure foolproof protection, while NSG and RAF personnel maintain a watchful eye against any potential disruptions.

As the Summit kicks off tomorrow, industry leaders, policymakers, and dignitaries from across the globe prepare to converge on Gandhinagar. With high-level meetings already underway between Modi and foreign delegates, the air crackles with anticipation. One can expect a flurry of MoUs and announcements, propelling Gujarat and India further on the path of economic progress.

The 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit promises to be a spectacle of economic potential, cultural richness, and global collaboration. As the curtains rise, prepare to be dazzled by the vibrant gateway to a prosperous future.
