New Delhi : Transline Technologies Limited, located in Delhi, has won a large contract for IP-based Video Surveillance Systems to be installed in 1633 railway stations operated by Indian Railways. This project will include Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Madhya Pradesh among others.

They will be obliged to customise IP-based video surveillance systems at railway stations depending on the needs of each station. Transline Technologies Limited will install the full system, which includes a CCTV system, panic buttons, network and VMS and server system connection, as well as FRS and video analytics.

Over 16,000 cameras will be deployed, providing a high level of protection for Indian Railways passengers. The Indian Railways’ foresight may contribute significantly to the Prime Minister’s goal of a Digital India.

When contacted, Mr. Arun Gupta, managing director of Transline Technologies Limited, said, “We are very grateful for the opportunity presented to us by the Indian Railways that allows us to participate in the visions of the Indian Government to create a safe and secure environment.” We believe that this would establish a safe presence for Indian Railways passengers and make them feel protected while travelling.”

“Our team is very excited and highly motivated to take on challenges like this,” Mr. Arun Gupta said, “and I am more than confident that we will be able to find a way for the job to be done with excellence, as Transline Technologies Limited has delivered on occasion.”

This Indian Railways initiative, without a question, would be a watershed moment in terms of modernization and technology. A surveillance network that runs across the railway stations of 11 Indian states is one-of-a-kind and desperately required in today’s world.
