TPES inaugurates its expanded Global Design Office facility in Pune

Pune : Pune-based IT services provider TPES, A Kulkarni & Stromberger Company, has just opened up a brand new, larger office space in the city’s thriving IT Park. The present 70+ Engineers & Experts of TPES, along with the additional engineers it plans to hire, will all find a home in the new building, which has a capacity of 110. A large number of senior dignitaries from the industry as well as TPES employees and their families attended the inauguration ceremony on February 3rd.

Since its inception, the company has expanded rapidly, mostly as a result of its work in the engineering sector for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries in India, Indonesia, the Middle East, and Europe. Within less than a year, the company went from employing 10 people to employing 70, and it plans to employ more than 200 engineers by 2024. This is a great time for smart people in the area to join the company’s engineering team, as the firm is actively recruiting both new and seasoned engineers. Chemical, mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, etc. engineers, as well as their European counterparts, will have the chance to collaborate on large-scale local and international projects.

We’re expanding rapidly and profitably. In the next two years, we plan to grow from our existing 70 employees to 200. Our foundation for expansion is the early success we had in bringing in new customers and completing their projects. Clients have faith in our abilities because we have performed some difficult tasks, such as feasibility studies, process scale up, and conceptual planning. As we have access to European technology and process knowledge, we can provide Indian manufacturing firms the best available technology, customised to their needs with the help of India’s vast pool of engineering expertise. According to Sunil Kulkarni, “TPES is a company operated and owned by Engineers with management awarding company shares to its key employees giving them opportunity to grow with the company.” We have seen early success in the Indian market, where clients in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries have entrusted us with the engineering for significant capital expenditure projects. We now work on projects for European clients and are eager to expand into new parts of Asia, particularly the Middle East and Southeast Asia. My time spent in India has convinced me that Pune is the best place for us to find the qualified Engineering personnel we need for our overseas projects. But, we are considering expanding our design centres to other cities in India to be closer to the actual sites where our clients are building their projects.
