There are no power cuts or load shedding in industrial areas in Gujarat : GUVNL

Surat (Gujarat) [India], April 01: The Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has denied the reports published in a section of print media regarding the power cuts and load shedding implemented by all its four DISCOMs–  UGVCL, DGVCL, MGVCL & PGVCL—for the industrial units in Gujarat.

In an official communiqué, GUVNL stated there are no power cuts or load shedding implemented in any of the industrial areas or estates across the state by its four DISCOMs. However, in most of the industrial areas, the units have implemented a shutdown to cut production.

The GUVNL’s discoms have been supplying uninterrupted power supply 24×7 to the industrial units across the state of Gujarat and there is no power cut or load shedding.
