The sixth edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League to commence on June 23

The TNPL, which was first played in 2016, has developed into Tamil Nadu’s top Twenty20 cricket league. There will be 32 total matches in the league, which consists of eight teams from eight different districts in Tamil Nadu. There will be a total of 28 league stage matches, followed by Qualifier I, Qualifier II, Eliminator, and Finale, four playoff stage matches.

The finals will be broadcast live on July 31 at 7:15 pm, following the season opener between Chepauk Super Gillies and Nellai Royal Kings on June 23.

Six doubleheaders will be played during the TNPL 2022, with the first game of the day beginning at 3:15 p.m. At 7:15 p.m., all evening games will begin (IST). Star Sports Network will broadcast the TNPL 2022 LIVE in English. Watch live streaming on Disney+ Hotstar in addition.

Tirunelveli will host the opening match of the TNPL 2022 league stage before the action moves to Dindigul, Coimbatore, and Salem. The finals will be played at SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore, while the season opener will take place at Indian Cement Company Ground in Tirunalveli.
