Swarrnim Scholar’s PhD on Mumbai-Navi Mumbai Urban Mobility

Gandhinagar, Gujarat —  Swarrnim Institute of Technology, part of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University is proud to announce that a PhD scholar, Rachna Desai recently completed and presented her doctoral research work.

Desai, a research scholar in Mathematics, presented practical strategies for improving office commute between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, through her research work titled, ‘Innovative Transport Solutions – A New Mobility Vision for Navi Mumbai’. The study proposes enhancing government-run bus services to reduce travel time, ease congestion, and offer a sustainable and cost-effective alternative for daily commuters.

The doctoral research was conducted under the supervision of Prof Dr Leena Patekar.
