Surat : The Tailor family from Surat recently planned a special wedding celebration in the holy location of Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, therefore fulfilling a cherished family wish. This historic occasion marks the first time a couple from Surat has tied the knot at this holy site of Kedarnath, where mythology believes Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati married.
Once a craze among celebrities, destination weddings are increasingly intriguing the interest of average couples looking for meaningful and unforgettable nuptials. Held on July 11, the wedding of Manasvi Tailor and Suchit Ramanbhai Kahar was evidence of this increasing trend. The ceremony happened at the Narayan Vishnu Lord Mandir in Joshimath, another site of legendary importance where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are said to have married.
The bride’s father, Shailesh Tailor, said that his late father, Kishore Chhaganbhai Tailor’s long-standing yearning motivated his choice to have the wedding at Kedarnath. The family thought it was their responsibility to honor Kishore’s legacy and carry out his wish since he had always dreamed of seeing his granddaughter married at this holy place.
“The idea was not about grandeur or excess,” Shailesh Tailor stated. “It was about realizing a sincere desire of our late dad. He had a close spiritual relationship with Kedarnath, and seeing his granddaughter get married there was his desire.
Traveling to Kedarnath presented difficulties as well. Overcoming logistical challenges, the Tailor family and their guests arrived at the holy town of Kedarnath from Surat to guarantee a flawless wedding. The family was quite happy in fulfilling Kishore Chhaganbhai Tailor’s dream in such a significant manner despite the complexity.
Surrounded by the calm and holy milieu of the Himalayas, the wedding ceremony carried conventional rites. The holy environment gave the marriage of Manasvi and Suchit great extra meaning, hence everyone who attended will remember not only the couple but also this occasion.
