Surat : Solving a Rubik’s Cube is a challenging feat that demands focus, sharp thinking, and mastery of algorithms. However, for 11-year-old Sarthak Vatsalbhai Bhavsar from Adajan, Surat, the challenge wasn’t enough. He elevated the difficulty to a new level by solving five types of Rubik’s Cubes in one minute while hanging upside down, creating a national record.

Sarthak’s incredible achievement has been recognized by the India Book of Records, which certified his feat after meticulous verification. On January 5, Sarthak received the certificate, medal, and trophy through courier, adding another proud moment to his young life.

Breaking Records, Defying Gravity

Sarthak, a fifth-grade student at Presidency School in Adajan, accomplished this mind-boggling feat on December 9 when he was just 10 years, 11 months, and 4 days old. The five types of Rubik’s Cubes he solved included the Mirror Cube, 2×2 Cube, 3×3 Cube, Pyraminx, and Skewb Cube, each presenting unique challenges.

But Sarthak didn’t stop at simply solving the cubes. He did it while suspended upside down, a physical and mental challenge that required not only sharp problem-solving skills but also remarkable concentration and physical stamina.

A Family of Achievers

Sarthak’s passion for challenges and excellence appears to run in the family. His father, Vatsalbhai Bhavsar, was a national-level gymnast who won gold medals in various state and national competitions in 1997-98. Sarthak’s mother, Riddhiben, is also a skilled gymnast, making sports and perseverance a family tradition.

The young achiever credits his success to the unwavering support of his family, who encouraged him to pursue his interests. His parents believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, children can excel in their chosen fields, and Sarthak’s accomplishment stands as proof.

The Journey to Mastery

Rubik’s Cubes are renowned for testing problem-solving abilities and intelligence. Like most enthusiasts, Sarthak began his journey by learning the cube’s algorithms and techniques. With practice and determination, he mastered the art of solving puzzles quickly.

What sets Sarthak apart is his ability to think under pressure and perform extraordinary tasks, such as solving the cubes while hanging upside down. His achievement is not just a record but a testament to his dedication and passion for challenges.

Inspiration for Young Minds

Sarthak’s journey sends a powerful message to children and parents alike: success comes from nurturing interests and turning passions into goals. His record proves that with the right environment, guidance, and hard work, young minds can achieve incredible feats.
