New Delhi, India, June 12: Amidst the OTT boom that has taken over the world, veteran Bollywood film director Ajay Ram has forayed into the digital space with his own streaming platform — CRF Studios. Officially launched on June 11, 2025, the platform will have original, high-end content in the shape of movies, web series, and web films that will try to leave a mark in an overcrowded market.
CRF Studios will also boast a carefully selected library of Ajay Ram’s previous directorial and production projects, including Marriage.com, Sakshi, Suspense, Overtime, and Bhadaas. The streaming process begins with Marriage.com, with a few newer web series in production to be released shortly.
In the days ahead, Ajay Ram will resume the muhurat of his new film, Hai Zindagi, on June 15. Though he plans to go on making and directing films under his own banner, the platform will have robust and contemporary tales of other independent producers, too.

Ajay Ram shared his vision for the platform, emphasizing that CRF Studios will cater to both mass and class audiences while avoiding bold or explicit content. The app will offer a variety of entertainment formats, including web films, short films, and feature films. Music will also play a key role, with web series and films featuring quality songs.
CRF Studios will focus on genres like current affairs and horror, and Ajay Ram revealed that one of the upcoming series will address the rising incidents of rape in the country — a sensitive and socially relevant subject.
With CRF Studios, Ajay Ram aims to create a space where storytelling meets responsibility, offering viewers meaningful content with cinematic value.
