SGCCI to Host 4 Mega Expos & Startup Summit Together from May 22

Surat | Gujarat — Surat is set to witness an unprecedented business and innovation surge as the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) prepares to host four mega events simultaneously from May 22 to 24, 2026. The ambitious move is expected to draw more than 25,000 visitors, over 200 investors and 50+ venture capitalists and angel investors to the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC) in Sarsana.

The three-day mega showcase will feature the Chemical & Pharma Expo 2026, Smart Education Expo 2026, the third Surat Startup Summit, and the SGCCI Business Connect (SBC) Business Expo — a first-of-its-kind convergence aimed at strengthening Surat’s position as a global business and innovation hub.

Chamber officials described the initiative as a milestone moment. “These four mega events will prove to be game changers in the economic and entrepreneurial development of Surat and Gujarat,” said president of SGCCI, Nikhil Madrasi, adding that the events will help create a record of 22 exhibitions organised in a single year in SGCCI’s 85-year history.

The grand inauguration on May 22 will be led by Union Minister of State for Commerce Dr. Jitin Prasad, along with top government officials, industry leaders and startup ecosystem representatives.

Chemical & Pharma Expo 2026

Organised with support from CHEMEXCIL and iNDEXTb, the Chemical & Pharma Expo will bring together manufacturers, researchers and technology providers from across the globe. The exhibition will showcase innovations in pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, industrial chemicals, laboratory equipment, automation and environmental safety solutions. Industry leaders say the platform will help build strategic partnerships and boost sustainable growth and global competitiveness.

Smart Education Expo 2026

In collaboration with Torin Wealth Management, the Smart Education Expo will provide students and parents direct access to top national and international universities, colleges and schools. With students increasingly seeking modern career pathways, the expo offers guidance, mentorship and career-building opportunities. Organisers said the event is a “golden opportunity for students to shape their future and explore global education options.”

Surat Startup Summit 2026

Supported by i-Hub Gujarat, AIC Surti iLab Foundation and TiE Surat, the third edition of the Surat Startup Summit will serve as a national platform for startups to pitch ideas, secure funding and build partnerships. Live startup pitching competitions, speed investor meetings and networking sessions are expected to attract strong participation from sectors such as fintech, healthtech, agritech and sustainability.

SGCCI Business Connect Expo 2026

The SBC Business Expo will bring together professionals from FMCG, IT, finance, garments, automobile and health sectors. Featuring B2B and B2C networking, product launches, investor connect sessions and MoU opportunities, the expo aims to strengthen Surat’s global business footprint.
