Prin MC Shah College Hosts HIV/AIDS Awareness Programme

Ahmedabad :  To raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and encourage active participation in the fight against the disease, Prin MC Shah Commerce College, a part of the Navgujarat Group of Colleges, recently organised an HIV/AIDS awareness programme. The event was held to commemorate World AIDS Day, observed globally on December 1.

The programme took place on November 30 under the leadership of Dr Janak Kavaiya, NSS Coordinator of the institute, at the college campus on Ashram Road, Ahmedabad. Conducted by the NSS Unit of Navgujarat Group of Colleges, the event featured impactful addresses by students and faculty members on HIV/AIDS prevention, awareness, and safe practices in Gujarat and India.

As part of the programme, students and faculty also pledged their commitment to creating awareness and contributing to efforts to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.
