BharatCares and Adani Launch Swasthya Manch in Bharuch
The collaboration between BharatCares, Adani Cement Industries Ltd., and the Adani Foundation underlines their commitment to fostering sustainable development and community health.
Bharuch : BharatCares and Adani Cement Industries Ltd., with support from the Adani Foundation, collaborated to launch the Swasthya Manch initiative, a transformative CSR program aimed at promoting the health and well-being of adolescent boys and girls in 10 villages across Vagra Taluka, Bharuch.
The program was officially inaugurated 0n 29th November 2024 at Lakhigam, marking a significant milestone in improving community health in the region. The launch event was graced by the presence of notable dignitaries, including Pravin Singh, Taluka Health Officer, Ajay Sharma, Plant Head of Adani Cement Pvt. Ltd., and Usha Mishra, CSR Head of Adani Foundation. Members of the Adani and BharatCares teams, alongside school staff and students, were also in attendance.
During the keynote address, Ajay Sharma emphasized the importance of prioritizing health early, stating: “Health is often overlooked, yet it is one of the most crucial aspects of our well-being. By prioritizing your health today, you invest in a stronger, happier, and more fulfilling future.”
Pravin Singh further highlighted the broader impact of the initiative, remarking:
“Health is a broad and vital subject, encompassing every stage of life. It’s a continuous cycle, and where we choose to begin can shape our journey. The Adani team, along with BharatCares, has taken a commendable step forward, aiming to make India healthier by fostering the well-being of adolescent boys and girls. Together, they are laying the foundation for a brighter and healthier future for the nation.”
The launch event also featured a flag-off ceremony for the dedicated Swasthya Manch Van, which will play a pivotal role in delivering health programs to the community.
