Piya Albela actress Sandhya Gemawat wins Mumbai Achiever Excellence Award 2023

Mumbai : Sandhya Gemawat, a well-known actress, was recently honoured with the Mumbai Achiever Excellence Award 2023. The actress took to social media to inform her followers of the good news, and they responded by showering her with congratulations and love. Daily publications Mumbai Mitra & Vrutta Mitra Newspapers hosted the lavish award ceremony in Mumbai.
This honour was presented to the actress who shot to fame thanks to the hit TV show “Piya Albela” by Shri Abhijeet Rane, founder of the Dhadak Kamgar Union and group editor of the aforementioned Marathi newspapers. The big event was hosted by him.
The thrilled actresses told the press, “It’s a proud moment for me. Thank you to everyone who has played a role in shaping my life so far. This award is validation that I am capable of giving performances that are more than just glamorous. I’ve been inspired to hone my skills and devote more time to my craft.
In 2016, the talented woman made her acting debut in Web Talkies’ Indian web series Maid in India. After that, in 2017, Sandhya played Rachel on ZeeTv’s Piya Albela, a role for which she received widespread critical acclaim and fan admiration upon the show’s premiere. In Star Bharat’s religious drama Jai Maa Vaishnodevi, the stunning actress also portrayed the role of ‘Ganga Maiya. The actor has also established himself as a successful model. She co-starred with Rohit Shetty in popular commercials for products like Garnier hair color, Ether Electric Bikes, and Smith & Jones Pasta Masala. Sandhya has also collaborated with businesses on digital marketing campaigns.
While her parents are from Rajasthan, Sandhya Gemawat’s upbringing was in Maharashtra. She attended D’Silva High School in Mira-Bhayandar and went on to earn a degree from the University of Mumbai.
Sandhya is not only an accomplished actress, but also an avid supporter of animal rights. She’s very hands-on in demonstrating her affection for animals. Over the course of a day, she feeds more than ninety canines and felines. Sandhya also pays for all of their medical care and annual vaccinations.
