India’s first hybrid delivery partner network has been created by logistics technology company Pidge in Delhi. The Pidge Partner Network is harnessing the potential of hybrid delivery partners in order to bring digital parity to India’s mainly unorganised logistics industry and help bring about a digitally inclusive Bharat.

Pidge was able to do this by pinpointing the voids that were preventing firms from reaching their full growth potential. The unit economics are flawed, whether one is trying to solve the problem of how to make internal delivery alternatives more efficient or the difficulty of working with unreliable third-party logistics (3PL) suppliers. The existing delivery scenario is a lose-lose situation for everyone involved. The introduction of Pidge’s hybrid delivery partner networks throughout the country will change the face of logistics.

The term “hybrid delivery partner network” describes a system that can communicate with many vendors. The “logistics technology for all” provided by Pidge will ensure digital parity and attract more businesses to the ecosystem. The rate of fulfilment will rise, and the cost of shipping will fall, as a consequence of this. There is ongoing change in consumer behaviour and the standards set for in-home delivery. These days, dependability and security are table stakes. Businesses may save money and time by establishing hybrid delivery partner networks, and they can still provide outstanding service to customers.

Pidge founder and CEO Ratnesh Verma has remarked, “Digital parity in the Indian e-commerce sector may be achieved by using the potential of interoperable hybrid networks. Pidge’s easily accessible technology extends digital capability to the chaotic underlayment. We’re working hard to close the digital gap between people who request delivery and those who are able to fulfil those requests. Pidge Partner Networks will operate in tandem with existing government programmes to create a digital Bharat that benefits everyone.

In India, the majority of the logistics industry is still not regulated. They are still subject to the demands of the intermediaries because they lack access to simple and practical technological solutions. Their growth and the elimination of wasteful ecological layers depend on our ability to digitally empower them. Partners include local movers and couriers, staffing firms, and riders found via crowdsourcing platforms. Pidge’s technology is helping to elevate previously underserved communities by providing them with access to cutting-edge, but simple, digital tools. Pidge guarantees that no delivery will ever go unmet if widespread digitalization is implemented at this level.

Pidge’s platform provides an unprecedented number of delivery choices, satisfying the varying tastes and needs of each individual consumer. Pidge’s systems can accommodate any delivery need, whether it’s the necessity for instant satisfaction with same-day delivery, the ease of next-day delivery, or the versatility of scheduled deliveries. Pidge’s goal is to retain its dedication to client satisfaction while providing fast and efficient services by working with a network of dependable delivery partners.

Over 7 renowned 3PL partners, including Shadowfax, Porter, LoadShare, Zomato, Dunzo, and Borzo, have joined the Pidge Partner Network, giving companies the ability to connect into a large network of delivery operators. In order to guarantee quickness, dependability, and cost-effectiveness, Pidge has linked companies with more than 50 local delivery partners in different cities.

Pidge’s easy-to-use and effective delivery solutions will help companies boost customer satisfaction with their deliveries, increase income, and achieve previously unattainable economies of scale. When firms are given more leeway to operate, it sets in motion a positive cycle that ultimately benefits the economy as a whole. It is clear that the democratisation of last-mile logistics will usher in a new age of digital literacy and economic success as the ideal of improved delivery experiences takes flight for both companies and consumers.
