Surat: The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Surat has organized a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) drive to reduce the long waiting cycle of PCC appointments and to help passport seekers with early appointments on November 5.

The RPO-Surat has informed that the PCC special drive has been organized in the wake of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on November 5. There will be a total of 1,000 appointments for only PCC available for the applicants.

The applicants will have to apply online on the Passport India Portal at www.passportindia.gov.in to take an appointment for the proposed PCC special drive.

Applicants are required to carry the printouts of the Application Reference Number (ARN) along with the soft copy of the appointment schedule and other relevant documents in original with one set of photographs. The appointments will be opened for booking on November 3, 2022, at 1 pm
