MoS Railways Launches Vadodara-Dahod MEMU Train

Jardosh, who was flanked by Vadodara MP Ranjanben Bhatt, Mayor Pinkiben Neerajbhai Soni, MLA Keyur Rokadiya and other dignitaries, said that the years-old demand for this train is coming true today. In this, the residents of the area have got this gift due to the continuous efforts of Vadodara MP Ranjanben Bhatt and  MP Jaswant Singh Bhabhor.

Vadodara : A new Vadodara-Dahod MEMU trained was flagged off from the Vadodara railway station by Union Minister of State for Railways and Textiles, Darshana Jardosh on Tuesday.

Jardosh, who was flanked by Vadodara MP Ranjanben Bhatt, Mayor Pinkiben Neerajbhai Soni, MLA Keyur Rokadiya and other dignitaries, said that the years-old demand for this train is coming true today. In this, the residents of the area have got this gift due to the continuous efforts of Vadodara MP Ranjanben Bhatt and  MP Jaswant Singh Bhabhor.

With this, the nearby residents will get full benefit of this facility to go from Vadodara to Dahod in the morning and return in the evening. This is the third MEMU service running between Vadodara and Dahod. The Government of India is making efforts on a war footing in the modernization of Railways and these efforts are now visible in concrete form.

Jitendra Singh, DRM of Vadodara Division said that it is a three-phase MEMU which regenerates power while running on the track. This will save about 30% electricity and the Railways will also benefit financially. This train has modern facilities like CCTV cameras, digital passenger information system, announcement system, bio toilet, LED lights.

According to Singh,  this MEMU has coaches with modern air spring technology which provides better riding comfort during the journey, making the journey comfortable. More than 2800 passengers can travel in this MEMU.
