Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], July 15: A new chapter in India’s skincare industry is emerging with the rise of MIRACARA, Gujarat’s first donkey milk-based skincare brand, founded by Dr. Namrata Patel (BHMS). Inspired by ancient beauty traditions and supported by years of research, MIRACARA aims to offer premium skincare products that combine nature, innovation, and thoughtful formulation. Dr. Namrata Patel, a medical professional from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), a Master’s degree in Hospital Management, a Certificate Course in Gynecology and Obstetrics (CGO), and advanced studies in Comprehensive Immunology from an American College of Physicians. The inspiration behind MIRACARA came during her clinical practice, where she observed that some patients experienced skin concerns after hormonal treatments. Motivated to explore naturally derived skincare alternatives, she began studying historical medical literature and traditional beauty practices that have influenced skincare for centuries. Her research led her to the teachings of Hippocrates, often regarded as the father of medicine, and to the legendary beauty rituals of Queen Cleopatra of Egypt. Historical accounts describe Cleopatra’s use of donkey milk as part of her skincare routine, inspiring Dr. Patel to undertake a three-year research journey into the properties of donkey milk and its potential application in modern skincare formulations. The research included sourcing donkey milk, studying its composition, evaluating formulations, and assessing product performance during development. This work became the scientific foundation for the MIRACARA skincare range. Donkey milk naturally contains vitamins A, B-complex, C, D, and E, along with essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, and iron. These nutrients are recognized for supporting healthy skin and inspired the brand’s formulations designed to provide hydration, nourishment, and gentle daily care. Since its launch nearly a year ago, MIRACARA has gained growing recognition and customer trust for its premium donkey milk-based skincare products and positive user experiences. Speaking about the journey, Dr. Namrata Patel, Founder of MIRACARA, said:
“During my medical practice, I witnessed patients facing skin-related concerns after hormonal treatments. That experience inspired me to search for a naturally derived, research-oriented skincare approach. MIRACARA is the outcome of years of learning, research, and dedication to creating products that combine ancient wisdom with modern medical understanding. Our vision is to provide skincare that is gentle, thoughtfully formulated, and suitable for diverse skin types.”
MIRACARA believes skincare should be built on three core principles: scientific research, naturally inspired ingredients, and quality-driven formulation. The brand represents a growing movement toward evidence-informed skincare while drawing inspiration from time-honored traditions. As Gujarat’s first donkey milk skincare brand, MIRACARA also highlights the growing potential of innovation-driven beauty entrepreneurship emerging from India. With increasing consumer awareness about ingredients and product quality, the company aims to continue expanding its portfolio while maintaining its commitment to research, authenticity, and customer satisfaction. Looking ahead, MIRACARA plans to strengthen its presence across India and introduce additional skincare solutions that reflect its philosophy of combining historical inspiration with modern formulation science.
