Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh) [India], November 21: Krishna Bhumi Arcade — an Infinity Group initiative — along with the Uttar Pradesh Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department and the Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad (BTVP), hosted a pre-event press conference today to announce the upcoming, one-of-its-kind Shri Bihar Panchami Panchavati Mahotsav, set to take place on 25 November 2025 at the historic Vaishnav Baithak site in Vrindavan.

  • A 140-acre ecological restoration initiative is happening at Kumbh Poorva Baithak sthal, located between Parikrama Marg and the Yamuna riverbank
  • 108 Mahants & saints to plant 108 sacred Panchvati trees to revive Vrindavan’s ancient ecology
  • A seva-led development model preserving Vrindavan’s spiritual heritage in its original form
  • Aligns with Vrindavan’s ₹30,000-crore integrated cultural and ecological masterplan
  • Enhances the pilgrim experience as footfall rises from 2.45 crore to a projected six crore in the next 5 years

The briefing was addressed by Madan Dubey, ACEO, Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad; Venkata Sreekar Patel, Divisional Forest Officer, Mathura; and Mr Ravee Shanker, Chief Marketing Officer, Krishna Bhumi Arcade.

While addressing the significance of Bihar Panchami, Mr Ravee Shanker, Chief Marketing Officer, Krishna Bhumi Arcade, said, “For the past two years, Krishna Bhumi has been working through a tripartite agreement with Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad and Nagar Nigam on the ecological upliftment and green restoration of the Kumbh-Poorva Vaishnav Baithak land. Last monsoon’s flooding and waterlogging severely damaged many trees and climbers in the area. The Bihar Panchami Panchavati Mahotsav is being organised to accelerate this restoration effort and strengthen Vrindavan’s sacred ecology.”

“Infinity Group has been committed to sustainable development for over three decades. Nearly 25 years ago, the Group built the world’s seventh green building and the second Platinum-rated green building outside the United States. Since then, all Infinity projects have been certified as green. Krishna Bhumi Arcade, India’s first spiritual and cultural product mall, is also a pre-certified Gold-rated green building.”

“At the heart of this Mahotsav is the seva-led development and preservation of Shri Vrindavan Dham. Through Panchvati plantation, we aim to restore Vrindavan’s ancient ecology, reinforce the Yamuna riverbank, and protect the cultural landscape that has shaped devotion for centuries. Our principle is simple and unwavering- what is built in the Dham must serve the Dham”, he further added.

The 140-acre plantation land lies between Parikrama Marg and the Yamuna, the two sacred pathways that define Vrindavan’s ancient geography. Every pilgrim entering the Bihari Ji Temple through Parikrama Marg will naturally encounter this restored green zone, transforming their journey into an immersive ecological experience rooted in the original Vrindavan ethos.

On the auspicious occasion of Bihar Panchami, and with the sacred presence and blessings of the revered saints of Braj, Vrindavan presents an exceptional model of Kunj Seva, where nature conservation, ecological nourishment, and human life come together in harmonious balance at the lotus feet of Shri Bihari Lal.”

According to the information, the Mahotsav will be inaugurated in the divine presence of 108 prominent Shri Mahants, Mahants, and saints of Braj, by Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble State Minister (Independent Charge), Forest, Environment, Forest Protection & Climate Change, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Grammy Award winner and Padma Bhushan awardee Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt (creator of the Mohan Veena) and Tantri Samrat Pandit Salil Bhatt (creator of the Satvik Veena) along with renowned Pandit Ajay Prasanna, three-time Grammy Award nominee.

Furthermore, the event encourages community participation through Tulsi plantation, inviting residents and devotees to join Vrindavan’s ecological revival.

Speakers emphasised that planting Panchvati trees along the Yamuna riverbank is both a spiritual act and an essential ecological intervention in the rapidly urbanising Bihari Ji Corridor. As Vrindavan is regarded as Bharat ki Adhyatmik Rajdhani, given the heavy footfall at the Bihariji temple, this green zone will serve as a living ecological garden, offering natural breathing space, enhancing spiritual ambience, and reviving the visual beauty of ancient Vrindavan where nature, devotion and culture once existed in seamless harmony.

This initiative is set to protect the sanctified terrain blessed by Bihari ji. It offers devotees a glimpse of Vrindavan as it once existed, where nature, devotion and culture seamlessly coexisted.

A key highlight shared during the press conference was that Krishna Bhumi by Infinity group has been entrusted with 140 acres of ‘Kumbh Poorva Vaishnav Baithak’ land by BTVP, the nodal body driving Vrindavan’s holistic development under a ₹30,000+ crore allocated budget; MVDA, and Nagar Nigam for plantation, landscaping, and maintenance, reinforcing the Infinity Group’s commitment to Vrindavan’s ecological preservation as part of its CSR responsibilities.

While inviting the audience to witness this rare convergence, the speakers concluded that the Bihar Panchami Panchvati Mahotsav 2025 represents a new model of sustainable spiritual development, preserving age-old Vrindavan with the blessings of Bihari Ji, strengthening the pilgrim experience through ecological restoration, and demonstrating that true development in the Dham is development through seva.

Further event details will be shared at the main ceremony on November 25.
