CHANDIGARH,PUNJAB : Tensions flared at Chandigarh airport as Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut reportedly faced an altercation with CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur, resulting in an alleged physical altercation. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has sparked widespread controversy and garnered attention due to the high-profile nature of the individuals involved.

According to sources, Kangana Ranaut, who recently won the Lok Sabha election from the Mandi seat in Himachal Pradesh, was confronted by the CISF constable due to purported disagreements over the actress’s remarks concerning farmers. Ranaut’s outspoken views on various socio-political issues, including the ongoing farmers’ protests, have often sparked heated debates and controversy.

The confrontation escalated when Ranaut was allegedly slapped by the CISF constable, Kulwinder Kaur, at the Chandigarh airport. The incident caused commotion and uproar among onlookers, prompting swift intervention from CISF officials to diffuse the situation.

Details surrounding the altercation and the events leading up to the alleged slap remain murky, with conflicting reports emerging from various sources. However, the incident has reignited discussions about freedom of expression, public figures’ responsibilities, and the role of security personnel in maintaining order and decorum in public spaces.

As news of the incident spread, it ignited a flurry of reactions on social media platforms, with netizens expressing divergent opinions and viewpoints on the matter. Some condemned the alleged assault on Ranaut, citing the importance of respecting individuals’ rights to express their opinions freely, while others questioned the appropriateness of Ranaut’s statements and actions in public discourse.

The Chandigarh airport authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the incident, and investigations into the matter are ongoing. Both Ranaut and the CISF constable involved in the altercation have not issued statements or responded to media inquiries as of yet.
