Ahmedabad : H.H. Jamsaheb Shatrusalyasinhji Jadeja, a former first-class cricketer and the current Titular Maharaja of Nawanagar State, has allegedly deviated from his statement concerning the ongoing agitation by the Kshatriya community against the remarks made by union minister Parshottam Rupala. On Tuesday, Jamsaheb issued a statement saying that all Rajputs should unite against anyone who commits such acts, and when we cannot tolerate it anymore, we must come together and defeat him in the elections.
Jamsaheb Shatrushalyasinghji of Jamnagar in his letter on Wednesday urged to forgive Union Minister Parshottam Rupala for the remarks he made, which led to a huge uproar from the Kshatriya Community.
However, the letter heads used by Jam Saheb to address both the letters are different along with the signatures. While the first letter issued on Tuesday has a different letter head and signature from the second one issued on Wednesday. There is skepticism among the Kshatriya community whether both the letters are issued by Jam Saheb himself or someone else.
In the second letter issued on Wednesday, Jamsaheb said, ” It came to my knowledge that Rupala has apologized twice before, but that is not enough. Instead of a statement, an apology should be sought in front of the leaders of the community and religious figures. If Rupala apologizes once again, then bearing in mind our principle of “Kshama Virsya Bhushanam” he should be granted forgiveness.”
“This election is crucial for making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time. Narendra Modi, of our Gujarat, has taken the country forward. He has made the country prosperous and safe. Our Dharma and Indian culture have gained respect worldwide. We should proceed ahead keeping this in mind.” the letter dated 10th of April 2024 further stated.
On Tuesday Jamsaheb in a letter said,”Protests should be conducted democratically in today’s democratic age, not irrationally. Rajputs must demonstrate not only courage but also unity to show that they are still a force in India. All Rajputs should unite against anyone who commits such acts, and when we cannot tolerate it anymore, we must come together and defeat him in the elections. This is what democracy’s punishment looks like, delivered collectively by the power of the people.”
