ITC Narmada Conducts a Mock Fire Safety Drill

Ahmedabad: A mock fire drill was conducted on Tuesday at ITC Narmada in Ahmedabad, in association with the Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES) of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. The initiative was taken as part of the ongoing National Fire Service Week, which is observed from April 14-20. Conducting a mock fire drill is part of the annual protocol followed at ITC Narmada to continuously improve the fire safety preparedness of the hotel staff, ensure smooth flow of safety procedures  and to ensure the safety of guests and patrons in the event of an emergency.

Mr. Keenan Mckenzie, General Manager, ITC Narmada, said, “Being one of India’s most respected and recognised hospitality brands, we conduct mock fire drills and training sessions on fire safety procedures and practices for our team, time and again, so that our entire team is well-trained to respond to fire emergencies, swiftly according to our stipulated fire and safety procedures.
