Indo-Georgian Festival 2025 Kick Starts at Swarrnim University

Gandhinagar: The Indo-Georgian Festival 2025 kick started with an electrifying cultural exchange at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University on Thursday. The opening day brought together students and Georgian artists in a vibrant celebration of art and culture. Performing artists from Georgian troupes received a grand welcome at the university’s sprawling campus. The festival is organised by Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University and the NGO Cultural Diversity for Peaceful Future (NGOCDPF) and the Ministry of Culture, Georgia, in association with Medilink Hospitals.

Patrons participated in an energetic Garba session, involved themselves in some mesmerising Georgian dance performances swaying to the beats, and also engaged in a Puppet Show. Georgian artists actively participated in the workshop, immersing themselves in India’s rich traditions while sharing their own cultural expressions, making the campus a hub of artistic synergy and festivity.

As part of the festival, a special theatrical performance will be organised on Thursday at the Gandhinagar Town Hall. The event will feature four captivating dramas performed by renowned troupes from Georgia, promising an immersive cultural experience.
