Bomb threat at Ahmedabad airport

Ten months ago, security agencies sprang into action following a bomb threat aimed at Ahmedabad airport.  A letter discovered on a flight from Jeddah to Ahmedabad contained a threat to detonate a bomb at Ahmedabad airport.  The flight from Jeddah to Ahmedabad was set to arrive at 9:35 am, but it touched down at Ahmedabad airport a remarkable 15 minutes ahead of schedule.  A total of 180 passengers from the flight that landed at Ahmedabad airport at 9:20 am were held at the airport.

By 9:40 am, all passengers had been escorted to the terminal.  Following that, they were informed that the immigration process was underway and were asked to take a seat.  After a considerable wait, the passenger asked for an update and was informed that all travelers arriving from Jeddah needed to gather on one side before the immigration process commenced.  Inside, BOMB IS HERE, and their seat number was noted in English to collect handwriting samples from all passengers.  BOMB IS HERE was also inscribed for those who were unable to write in English.
