Comedian Samay Raina has officially brought back India’s Got Latent with its much-awaited second season. The show premiered on June 20 and is being released simultaneously on both YouTube and Netflix, giving viewers multiple ways to watch.

Table Of Content

  • Is India’s Got Latent Season 2 Free to Watch?
  • What’s the Difference Between Netflix and YouTube?
  • Season 2 Premiere and Guest Line-up
  • A Comeback After Controversy
  • Another Netflix Project in the Works

Is India’s Got Latent Season 2 Free to Watch?

Yes. Samay Raina has confirmed that all episodes of India’s Got Latent Season 2 will be available free of charge on YouTube. At the same time, the episodes will also stream on Netflix for subscribers.

This dual-platform release allows viewers to choose between watching the show for free on YouTube or enjoying it on Netflix.

What’s the Difference Between Netflix and YouTube?

According to the creators, there is no difference in the content, runtime, or format of the episodes across the two platforms. The primary distinction lies in the viewing experience.

Netflix offers an ad-free experience, while YouTube viewers will see advertisements during the episodes. Other than that, both versions are identical.

Season 2 Premiere and Guest Line-up

The first episode of Season 2 premiered on June 20 at 7 PM IST. New episodes are expected to be released every two weeks.

The season opener features actors Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, who joined the panel alongside comedians Ashish Solanki and Balraj Ghai. The actors are currently promoting their upcoming film Alpha.

A Comeback After Controversy

The first season of India’s Got Latent became one of India’s most talked-about online shows, attracting millions of views and widespread social media attention. However, the show faced significant controversy earlier this year after remarks made by guest Ranveer Allahbadia sparked backlash and legal scrutiny, leading to the removal of Season 1 episodes from YouTube.

Despite the setback, Raina has returned with a new season, and fan response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Another Netflix Project in the Works

In addition to the show’s return, Netflix has announced a separate collaboration with Samay Raina. While official details remain under wraps, the project is widely expected to be a stand-up comedy special that will stream exclusively on the platform.
