Mumbai | Maharashtra — India’s gem and jewellery industry made a powerful global statement at JCK Las Vegas 2026 as the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council marked its 21st consecutive participation at the world’s leading jewellery trade event.
Held from May 29 to June 1 at The Venetian Expo, the India Pavilion spans 3,900 sq. ft. under the “Brilliant Bharat” initiative, showcasing 33 leading exporters and positioning India as a design-driven global sourcing hub.
The pavilion was inaugurated by the Consul General of India in Los Angeles, alongside senior representatives of the council. The showcase highlights India’s evolution from a manufacturing base to a trendsetter in global jewellery design.
A key attraction is the India Design Gallery themed “Quantum Couture,” curated to present contemporary reinterpretations of traditional craftsmanship through embroidery, micro painting, and poetic layered design narratives. These collections reflect India’s growing strength in high-end, design-led jewellery innovation.
Speaking at the event, council leadership said India is no longer just a production hub but a global creative force. They emphasised that the pavilion represents innovation, craftsmanship, and market-ready design excellence.
The council also highlighted its engagement with the Natural Diamond Council, reinforcing efforts to promote natural diamonds through storytelling and consumer education.
India’s presence is further strengthened through participation in global platforms such as the World Diamond Council, supporting ethical sourcing, transparency, and sustainable growth.
With strong global engagement and expanding design capabilities, India continues to reinforce its position as a preferred destination for jewellery sourcing worldwide.
