Organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), this year’s IIJS is the largest-ever, featuring over 3,600 stalls, 2,100 exhibitors, and drawing more than 50,000 visitors from India and over 80 countries.
“This isn’t just an exhibition, it’s a declaration of India’s ambition,” said Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of GJEPC. “The India–UK Free Trade Agreement and upcoming bilateral deals with the US are catalysts for exponential growth. Our target of $7 billion bilateral trade with the UK in three years is within reach.”
Held at both JIO World Convention Centre, BKC and Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, the show’s ‘Brilliant Bharat’ theme pays tribute to India’s cultural legacy while embracing cutting-edge design and sustainability.
Chief Guest Rahul Narvekar, Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, emphasized India’s rising dominance:“From Zaveri Bazaar to global markets, India’s jewellery story is unstoppable. The youth-driven economy makes India the world’s most promising luxury market.”
The event also unveiled The Select Club, an exclusive zone for high-end couture jewellery by 118 elite designers.
Ajoy Chawla, CEO of Titan’s Jewellery Division, said:“India must now package its 5,000-year heritage with global aspiration. Sustainability and design legacy are our biggest exports.”
IIJS is not just about business, it’s about sustainable progress. Nirav Bhansali, Convener of National Exhibitions, shared,“We’re running the show on 100% green energy, aiming for complete carbon neutrality by 2030.”
