Bengaluru, India: In a significant homecoming moment, HYDRA ELECTRIC has relocated its global headquarters from Dubai to Bengaluru, marking a renewed commitment to India’s fast-growing electric mobility ecosystem. Established in 2022, the company is led by visionary Founder and CEO Fahad Hafiz, who believes the future of mobility belongs to sustainable innovation built on Indian soil.

Return with a Clear Vision

After building its foundation in the UAE, the company has now returned to India with a sharper focus and stronger ambition. This move reflects confidence in the Indian EV market, which is witnessing steady growth driven by consumer awareness and government support for clean transportation.

The leadership sees Bengaluru not just as a new base, but as a technology-driven environment that aligns with its long-term plans in electric vehicle research, design, and manufacturing.

From Superbike to Smart Commuting

The brand had earlier made headlines with the launch of the Hydra ESX, recognised as India’s fastest electric superbike at the time. The bold debut positioned the company as an early mover in the premium electric two-wheeler segment. However, feedback from customers revealed a growing need for high-performance yet practical mobility options for daily use.

Responding to popular demand, the company is now preparing to launch the Hydra EZ, a high-performance electric scooter designed specifically for Indian commuters. The new model aims to balance performance, affordability, and practicality, making electric mobility accessible to a wider audience.

The leadership believes that while superbikes inspire aspiration, scooters empower everyday transformation. The Hydra EZ represents this shift from exclusivity to inclusivity.

Building for a Sustainable Future

With the electric vehicle market expanding across cars, trucks, and two-wheelers, the company’s focus on modelling and developing multiple EV formats highlights its long-term commitment. By specialising in electric mobility, it aims to stay ahead in the transition toward environmentally responsible transportation.

As concerns around emissions and climate impact continue to rise, electric vehicles are becoming a practical solution. The company’s return to India signals its intent to contribute meaningfully to this transformation.

The Entrepreneur Behind the Mission

Fahad Hafiz, Founder and CEO, is a serial entrepreneur known for building ventures across technology, pharmaceutical, fashion, and finance sectors. His journey began in the tech space, where he recognised early the power of digital innovation to disrupt traditional industries.

Over the years, he has advised and supported multiple startups in refining business models and scaling operations. His leadership philosophy is rooted in innovation, calculated risk-taking, and resilience. Under his guidance, the company aims to evolve beyond a product manufacturer into a mobility solutions brand with global potential.

Looking Ahead

As the electric mobility movement gains pace in India and beyond, the company’s return from the UAE marks more than a geographical shift. It reflects belief in India’s engineering talent, consumer base, and sustainable future.

With the launch of Hydra EZ, the organisation is entering a new chapter — one that blends aspiration with accessibility and innovation with responsibility.
