After Narendrabhai Modi assumed the charge as the Chief Minister in 2001, he developed an ecosystem in the automobile sector like all sectors in the state. Bhupendra Patel said that India has today made a strong partnership in the global economy through the slogan ‘Make in India, Made for the World’ given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The industries of the auto hub of Mandal-Becharaji-Vithlapur are realizing the slogan.
Chief Minister said that along with Gross Domestic Product-GDP, GEP-Gross Empowerment of People based development is necessary, for which the state government is continuously striving. Gujarat today is becoming a hub of emerging sectors like manufacturing, semiconductor and green hydrogen including e-mobility.
