Homeguard Jawan Murder Sparks Tension and Bandh in Ahmedabad
Sources said that the homeguard jawan identified as Kishan Shrimali, a resident of Bhoiwada Pol in Shahpur area was murdered in Delhi Darwaja area in Ahmedabad by the accused identified as Badruddin Shah over the alleged accusation of eve-teasing his wife.

Ahmedabad, Gujarat – Many Hindu leaders were detained on Wednesday when they issued a bandh announcement and forced the shopkeepers to shut their shops in Shahpur and Ghee Kanta areas in Ahmedabad following the brutal murder of a homeguard jawan late Monday night.
Sources said that the homeguard jawan identified as Kishan Shrimali, a resident of Bhoiwada Pol in Shahpur area was murdered in Delhi Darwaja area by the accused identified as Badruddin Shah over the alleged accusation of eve-teasing his wife.
The accused pulled out a knife from his pocket and stabbed the homeguard jawan, causinig a stampede at Delhi Darwaja area on Monday night. Earlier, the police suspected that the accused committed the crime due to molestation of his wife, but the Hindu organisations claimed that the homeguard jawan was brutally killed in connection with the MD drug smuggling.
A heavy deployment of police was witnessed in the Shahpur area since early Wednesday morning as the Hindu organisations had given a bandh call in the area. Many shops in the areas remained closed till 1:30 pm and were later opened following the police assurance.
The murder of a homeguard jawan, which took place in the Delhi Darwaza area, was captured on the CCTV of a shop. The police have detained Badruddin and the girl who was with him in connection with the murder and are conducting further investigation.
Kishan Shrimali, a resident of Bhoiwada’s Pol in Shahpur area of Ahmedabad, was on duty in the Home Guard. On Monday night, when he was passing through the Delhi Darwaza area, a man named Badruddin Shah stopped him and said, “Why are you looking at my wife Sama?” After this conversation, Badruddin started fighting. Within a few minutes, Badrudi took out the knife he had and attacked Kishan, causing a stampede.
The attack on Kishan was so severe that Kishan’s intestines came out. When Kishan was taken to the hospital for treatment, a man named Badruddin Shah and a girl who was with him said that they had attacked him. The police have detained both of them and are conducting further investigation.
CCTV footage of the murder in Delhi Darwaza area also surfaced. In which, the movement of vehicles was seen on the road at the time of this incident, which took place at night. When the deceased Kishan and the accused were arguing and being attacked, some people were also seen nearby.
