NAVSARI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Navsari on September 8 to inaugurate the Bharatiya Janata Party’s new district office, ‘Namo Kamalam’, a high-tech facility that party leaders claim is among the most modern BJP offices in the country.

Union Minister and Navsari MP C.R. Patil announced Modi’s visit during a recent ‘Samvad’ programme in the district, describing the inauguration as a significant organisational milestone.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to dedicate his valuable time to inaugurate this magnificent and state-of-the-art office,” Patil said. He added that it would be the first time after becoming Prime Minister that Modi would inaugurate a district-level BJP office, making the event “historic”.

Spread across around 40,000 square feet, the office has been built at a cost of more than Rs 10 crore. According to Patil, while the building may be smaller than some BJP offices elsewhere, its quality, design and facilities make it an ideal model for party organisation.

The corporate-style office has been equipped with AI technology, high-speed internet, an auditorium, conference hall and separate cabins for office-bearers, officials and visiting leaders.

The auditorium can accommodate hundreds of party workers, while the conference facilities are intended to support organisational meetings and programmes. AI-enabled systems and high-speed connectivity are expected to facilitate digital operations.

The new office replaces the older ‘Kamalam’ facility located within Navsari city. Party leaders said the earlier premises had become inadequate as the BJP’s organisational network and workforce expanded.

The location near the Grid Highway was selected to provide greater space and easier access while reducing traffic-related difficulties associated with the old office.

Patil said the new facility reflects the BJP’s expanding organisational structure and its adoption of modern, corporate-style infrastructure for party activities.

With construction and internal work now completed, the party is preparing for the September 8 inauguration, which is expected to bring senior BJP leaders and workers to Navsari.
