Gujarat News : Major Fire Guts Ice Cream Godown in Godhra, Fire Brigades Battle Blaze

Godhra : A major fire erupted today at a plastic shed located within the Bombay Chopati ice cream godown in the GIDC industrial area of Godhra city, Gujarat. The Godhra Fire Brigade rushed to the scene upon receiving reports of the blaze and immediately deployed water cannons to control the flames that had engulfed the entire godown.

The presence of a significant amount of chemicals stored within the ice cream facility reportedly intensified the fire, raising serious concerns. As a precautionary measure, godown owners in the surrounding area swiftly evacuated their stock to prevent further damage.

Given the severity of the situation, additional fire brigade units from Halol, Kalol, and Lunawada were called in to bolster firefighting efforts. A coordinated response with multiple firefighting teams is currently underway to extinguish the flames completely.
