Gujarat NEWS : Major Fire Erupts at Lifestyle Textile Company in Valsad District

VALSAD, GUJARAT : A significant fire erupted at the Lifestyle textile company located in Dehri GIDC, Umbergaon taluka, on Thursday afternoon. The Valsad fire department issued a Brigade Call after the fire rapidly spread, prompting an urgent response from neighboring fire stations.

Sources indicate that the blaze began in a small section of the factory for unknown reasons and quickly engulfed the entire premises. The fire department’s Brigade Call mobilized additional firefighting resources from nearby districts to assist in controlling the inferno.

As of the latest updates, firefighters are using water cannons in an ongoing effort to extinguish the massive fire. Despite the extensive damage, fire officials have yet to confirm any casualties. “Hopefully, the people working in the company may have rushed out after the spark occurred in the small area of the factory. We are yet to receive any information on people stuck inside the factory,” said a fire officer on the scene.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and authorities are investigating the incident to prevent future occurrences. The quick response from the Valsad fire department and nearby stations highlights the region’s preparedness to handle such emergencies, though the extent of the damage is still being assessed.

However, the fire soon became so fierce that the fire brigade had to be called out. Firefighters from across the district have been ordered to reach the spot following a fire call issued in Valsad GIDC following a massive fire in the company.
