Gujarat Home Minister’s father passes away in Surat

Surat : Rameshchandra Sanghavi, father of Gujarat’s Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi breathed his last on Saturday at the private hospital in Surat where was undergoing treatment for the last three days. Sanghavi’s body was brought to his residence at Dharam Palace in Parle Point in Surat from where his funeral was taken out to the Ramnath Ghela crematorium in Umra in the evening. 

Sources said that Rameshchandra Sanghavi, a reputed name in the Jain community, was admitted in the Unique hospitals for the last three days. Sanghavi’s father was on a ventilator. Sanghavi was associated with many social organisations in Surat. 

The funeral procession of Rameshchandra Sanghvi was taken out from his residence at  Dharam Palace at Parle Point at 5 pm to the Ramnath Ghela crematorium in Umra. 

Sanghavi’s was ailing for the last several months. During the Covid-19, he was shifted to Hyderabad for treatment. IT should be noted that for the last three days, Harsh Sanghvi had cancelled all his programs and was in the service of his father at Surat Hospital.

The dead body has been taken home from Unique Hospital in Surat. Family members and friends reached Harsh Sanghvi’s home and offered condolences.
