The grand event, graced by over 4,000 enthusiastic Chartered Accountant students from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, commenced under the auspices of the Ahmedabad branch of the West Indian Chartered Accountants Students Association.

Gujarat Governor, in his inaugural address, highlighted India’s aspirations to evolve into a ‘Developed India’ by 2047 under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Emphasizing the pivotal role of the nation’s economic and industrial progress, he urged young Chartered Accountants to become torchbearers in India’s developmental odyssey.

“India’s future rests on your shoulders; you are the architects of our nation’s economic landscape.” said Governor Acharya Devvrat

Encouraging ethical practices, Governor Devvrat urged the budding Chartered Accountants to uphold truth, honesty, and the national duty, steering clear of tax evasion while advocating for fair distribution and societal well-being. He emphasized the spiritual strength derived from modest living and righteous actions, urging professionals to combat poverty and elevate the country’s prosperity.

In resonance with the theme, C.A. Aniket Sunil Talati, Chairman of ICAI, stressed the intrinsic link between individual growth and national development. Applauding the stringent examination system, Talati encouraged aspiring Chartered Accountants to not only excel in their profession but also contribute to societal welfare.

The conference, a confluence of knowledge and vision, stands as a testament to the commitment of aspiring Chartered Accountants towards not just professional excellence but also the upliftment and progress of society—a testament to the ethos of integrity, dedication, and national service that encapsulates the profession.
