Vadodara : Dr. Jyoti Pandya, a prominent figure and Senior Leader of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Mahila Morcha in Vadodara, has been suspended from the party following her vocal dissent over candidate selection for the upcoming Vadodara Lok Sabha elections.

The controversy ignited when sitting BJP MP Ranjan Bhatt was repeated on the Vadodara LS constituency, sparking discussions and dissatisfaction among female party members. Dr. Jyoti Pandya, serving as the National Vice President of BJP Mahila Morcha, openly rebelled against the decision, expressing her readiness to contest the elections herself.

Consequently, the Bharatiya Janata Party promptly suspended her from the party for six years on Thursday.

Dr. Jyothiben Pandya, who sought the Lok Sabha ticket, voiced her displeasure at not being selected despite her extensive qualifications and years of loyal service to the BJP.
