Gujarat : 40 abandoned packets of charas found on Navdra Beach

Devbhoomi Dwarka, Gujarat: A youngster discovered over 40 packets of charas lying unclaimed near Navdra beach in Devbhoomi Dwarka. The Special Operation Group (SOG) seized the packages holding the contraband, valued at Rs 1 crore, and questioned the youngster who discovered them on the beach.

According to authorities, the youngster promptly contacted them when he saw the charas packages on the beach.
It should be emphasized that the police discovered the charas packets from Kutch on Tuesday. During the patrolling operation, the BSF confiscated 20 more packets of charas from the sea region of Jakhau. The parcels remained unclaimed. So far, the BSF has confiscated over 170 packets from the Jakhou area, and they are currently conducting searches in the stream and island areas.

Six days earlier, the BSF confiscated drugs worth Rs 150 crore from the Creek area of Kutch, including three varieties of synthetic, heroin, and charas packages. During the previous 10 days, the stream border BSF has found more than 170 packets of heroin.
